After Simon's canceled flight (one day before departure), the stress continued for him. Stranded in Paris, it was initially unclear if Simon would be able to catch the connecting flight to Accra due to overbooking. Luckily, he was allowed to board!ЁЯдЧ

Sefa picked me up at 5:30 PM and drove me to the airport. We only waited for 10-15 minutes until Simon came out with all his luggage. I was so happy to see him and immediately hugged him and didn't let go ЁЯШК

His first words were: ohh, you look beautiful - so tan, with so many freckles and curly messy hair!

I was also wearing my new yellow dress so that he could easily spot me in the crowd. The rest of the evening was cozy. We bought Jollof and Palava sauce from the lady across the street and chatted with the girls. After packing for the next three weeks, we fell tired into bed.

Simon's first impression: since he grew up in Burkina Faso, he is already familiar with the African way of life. Ghana has many similarities with BF, so he didn't experience the cultural shock like I did.

This morning, we woke up early. Simon slept like a log - he already feels very comfortable hereЁЯШЕ First, we got him a SIM card and topped it up. Now he is reachable everywhere and has internet. I bought him various pastries and watermelon so that I could prepare him a birthday breakfast. After waiting 1.5 hours for the car to fill up, we are now sitting in the Trotro to Cape Coast.

Let's go on our adventure together!ЁЯдЧ
