Yodobashi - Mediamarkt on a large scale

One highlight of Japanese technology culture is the huge electronics markets. We visited one of the largest, the Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Store.

If you thought that the German Mediamarkt with 2 floors is big (like us), you will be amazed here. The market sells pretty much everything that is electronic on 8 floors.

We looked at the gaming floor. The collectible figure shelves in particular stand out. This department alone was as big as some Saturn stores here.

Also remarkable: in every shelf there were about 2 monitors playing their own videos with sound. The noise level was comparable to a very chaotic fairground.

As a souvenir, we took home a Switch game (see photos).
