On a sunny day, we took a stroll through Villach. There wasn't much going on, possibly because few restaurants were open.

Decorative hearts are displayed on Klagenfurter Straße and the side streets. The house near the vacation rental seemed like one of the former eight brothels.

Congress Center Bridge

The famous doctor and alchemist Wilhelm Bombast von Hohenheim lived in the house above this courtyard passageway. He initiated his son, Philippus Aureolus Theoprasus Bombastus, into the secrets of science. The son later became known under the pseudonym Paracelsus.

In the old town area, some alleys connect courtyards with passages. Very nice for strollers, as the Austrians say.
