The journey to Alice Springs begins!

Should have been picked up at 08:30, but the Chinese woman was late. At least Lena was on time with her car. However, that didn't help much, as we still had to split up into two cars in the end.

Then we went shopping at least and finally met the Chinese woman there. With a significant delay, we finally started our journey. First stop: the Memorial in Adelaide River. Then Umbrawarra Gorge. Almost collided with a horse on the way, which just jumped onto the road. It was sooo close, I thought our last second had passed.

In the evening, disagreement about where exactly to stay overnight. Some wanted to take a shower, but that's just not possible every day on such a trip.
