09/02/2017: Arrival in Sydney

Finally, Sydney. After a 3-hour drive on a slightly battered bus, we drove past the world-famous Harbor Bridge and the even more famous Opera House to Central Station. From there, it took a 20-minute train ride to Carlton, where our host lives. Herta greeted us at the train station and took us to her home. After a cozy lunch, we went back to the city to Circular Quay, where the Harbor Bridge and the Opera House are located. There was also a huge cruise ship at the Quay.
