Tag 1• Christchurch

Done!!! We arrived in Christchurch today at 2:00 pm under sunny blue skies and temperatures of around 20 degrees. First, we picked up our rental car at Avis right at the airport and drove to our B&B Travellers Retreat (very nice hosts and cozy). Driving on the left side is extremely difficult. I just wanted to get in and ended up on the wrong side. Hopefully, it will normalize quickly in the next few days. :-) We didn't have much time for sightseeing, but we tried to see the most important things quickly. To be honest, there isn't much to see. So, from our perspective, it's not worth spending two days here. There's still a lot of rebuilding going on since a lot was destroyed in the 2011 earthquake.
