Unforgettable moments

Finally it's weekend again!

And the anticipation for this weekend grew from hour to hour - so much that I could hardly sleep from Friday to Saturday night.

On Saturday we set off for the safari at 5 o'clock. First, we had to drive for 2 hours on bumpy roads. I will never complain about German roads again. We arrived completely shaken. From the moment we entered the national park, we were like children. So eager to see animals and especially to be the first! It was wonderful. To be so excited and attentive. And then it started and I couldn't stop marveling. I have never experienced something so beautiful and peaceful. It's hard to believe that you are standing in the middle of nowhere (not in Hannover or Stöckheimer Zoo) and seeing these animals in front of you. No, it's indescribable and no photo can reflect what that feeling was like and how impressive these animals were. Something like this must be experienced at least once in a lifetime!!!

Hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and so on. I was and still am overwhelmed.

On Sunday we went hiking and to a rock formation that was also incredibly impressive.

Simply an unforgettable weekend - which I would have loved to share with my husband...
