Siargao

Siargao has an area of 437 Km2, it is an island in the Philippines and has 200,000 inhabitants.

Siargao is very green and has many roads that lead through the jungle, which is completely green. There are many palm trees, as about 5 coconuts fall from each palm and a new palm tree grows from each coconut. We have even seen the coconut split and a small palm tree grow out of it.

The families living at the harbor have houses that are supported by thin wooden sticks and look very dangerous. And the children have to take a boat to school.

The island is much better organized than others. In restaurants or bars, it is legally forbidden to sell plastic items (straws, plates, cups...). And in villages and school zones, there are signs everywhere indicating that you must not drive faster than 30 Km/h.
