Brisbane over New Year's

After having to escape from our horror accommodation (see last post) at short notice and unplanned, we booked a central hostel in Brisbane. At the time, it was the only place near the Gold Coast where we found an affordable room.

Since we had already been to Brisbane before, there are only a few photos and little text ;). We mainly enjoyed our regained freedom... So we went shopping, had coffee, went to the Eat Street Market again, sunbathed at the Southbank, and watched the sunset at Kangaroo Point. On New Year's Eve, we spent it with still water (cheers) and food from the food trucks or the open food stands at the Southbank. The fireworks were really great and lasted about 10 minutes. Once there was a family fireworks show at 8:30 pm and the second fireworks show at midnight.

From January 2nd, we start another attempt with a Helpx accommodation. This time we're going to the Noosa Hinterland in Tinbeerwah. Hopefully, it will be better than last time. We're giving it another chance :)
