Flying Lanterns

This weekend there were exciting events.

My exchange student took his final exam on Friday. Now he is free from studying.

On Saturday, we went to the community to play bingo. Everyone sat on plastic chairs and crossed off the called numbers. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything.

Afterwards, we headed to the neighbors' house where we let lanterns rise.

The lanterns rose up due to the candle and disappeared into the night sky. It was really nice to watch the lanterns.

On Sunday, I watched a movie with my host brother in the mall. The movie cost €5. In Pune, there are many malls that are very modern and include many well-known brands.

Then we packed the bags and we can really get going now. We are taking the train to the grandparents' house to celebrate Diwali.
