You have to go through at least seven showers and endure the cycling path :D

Arrived in Amsterdam and first snack on the honey waffle *yummi*

Today it started at 10:30 am, on the way from Aurich to Leer, I felt a bit like a packed donkey and I still look like that *haha* 20kg behind (90% by the way assortment of pharmacies in East Frisia) and about 10kg in front don't necessarily make the way easy, especially not climbing stairs. Don't tell me I have a good sense of balance, you didn't see me staggering up and down today... But it's also not that easy when you can't see the steps, but have to guess and every small shift backwards could mean: 'In that moment Anna knew she fu*** up'.

Thank goodness I didn't take my dress and shoes in the extra bag :D I could only carry them between my teeth. But those who know me, know that I will definitely find something nice along the way to fill this gap :D

My first impression of Amsterdam: It smells like weed. Everywhere. At the bus stops, in the trains, on the way to the hotel, in front of the hotel, just not in my hotel room. The bike paths are as wide as the streets in East Frisia and all the men walk around with linen bags. Everything very hip here ;-)

Now I'm sitting here on my bed and the plan was actually to relax 100% now, stroll through the city, go for some delicious food, stroll in the sauna in the evening, put up my feet... Unfortunately, it will probably only be the latter :D Thank God Mom and Dad will say now, because Amsterdam is not exactly the cheapest and safest place and as we all know, Anna should not be positioned in big cities for too long, better a little off the beaten track :D or after closing time *haha*

But the decision of what I'm going to do tonight has already been taken away from me, because the language teacher from Canada gave us all the tiny task of completing an 80-minute English test, preferably by Monday. Thanks. My wallet thanks you :)

And there I am once again aware that plans are actually only meant to give you a certain degree of security. Then panic sets in when things don't go according to plan (which is 100% the case) and eventually you reach the moment when you realize that everything always turns out completely different, and sometimes even much better. And with that thought and trust, you can approach everything a bit more calmly again :)
