5:45 the alarm clock rings ⏰, it's finally time 😻. After getting dressed, we go downstairs where many people join us to come along.

It's still dark outside but pleasantly warm.

Here's an overview of the entire campus:

The Campus Center is where the reception is, the dining room, and where you can also buy all kinds of sweets, cakes, coffees, or other hot meals.

The residence halls are where the student rooms are located.

My room has a beautiful view of part of the courts.

There are delicious and fresh things, the Americans are even so crazy that there is separate egg white and yolk scrambled eggs 🙄

For me, there is fruit salad with oatmeal and scrambled eggs, the sausage was too unusual...

The tennis program starts at 7, you have to leave the breakfast building and then a golf caddy with a trailer takes you to the courts.

At the court, the groups were assigned after playing a forehand and a backhand over and over again. The groups were constantly changing. I never thought there would be so many people, from small to large, who were divided among what felt like thousands of trainers.

After finding my group - with Hisan, my trainer - I received my schedule:

According to the schedule, there was time for breakfast again, so I helped myself at the fruit bar.

Later, we went to the physical conditioning, where we did sprints, squats, lunges, and all kinds of other exercises. That was a pretty cool change from the tennis program at home.

The topic on the tennis court was the forehand. I was able to learn really good technique, as the trainers really know their stuff and can give great tips.

Our group, consisting of about 20 people, was divided on the courts again. There were about 7 trainers, so about 3 people were trained by each trainer. The courts here are so good!

We then did various exercises, always with a focus on the forehand.

After lunch, it was time for the English classes interview, where I talked to a slightly crazy but totally likeable American. The whole thing was at the Academic Center.

After the test, I had time to shower before continuing with the 'lessons' at 2 o'clock, where we talked to each other about Independence Day. Here, too, I got to know a lot of people who come from all over and are all super open-minded and friendly. For example, I talked to boys from Guatemala and Brazil.
While English is fun here, I want to learn more from simple free conversation, so tomorrow I will ask if I can replace English. Everyone else will have another match play on the court and a mental coaching, which I find more useful.

After dinner, which I just had, I'm sitting here and writing. I'm going to spend the rest of the evening with the girls from my room. Let's see what we can discover... 💫
