Sunday & early Monday

I'm back!

Yesterday Sunday I was at the beach from around 11 am until the afternoon. The weather was fantastic, which made it very enjoyable. I was walking on the famous Brighton Pier and met an Australian guy who asked me to take a photo of him. Of course, I wanted the same, and you can see the resulting photo attached! :) We talked for a short while about what we are doing here in Brighton, and after 5-10 minutes, I continued on my own. The beach and promenade are great!😊

What's not great is the sunburn I got during the day! My arms and neck are red again, as most of you know from me...😂

I then rested a bit at my host family's house, met some relatives, and then headed to the tennis club. Although I found it, nobody was there. I read on the internet that Thursday evenings (some things are just like in Kollerbeck😉) and Saturday/Sunday mornings are the main playing times. So, I'll try again on Thursday!

In the evening, my German roommate Patrick and I ventured into a Ladbrokes betting shop and watched the Confederations Cup final. It's impressive that you can bet on dog races...to each their own😂 I preferred to stick with football...

Today, Monday, I already had my welcome meeting with 'Stages', and at 2 pm, I have to go to work for the first time. I'll keep you updated!
