On the go, 04.08.2017

After over twelve hours of beauty sleep, I woke up this morning because it suddenly became so quiet. The rain had stopped. With this pleasant realization, I turned to Leon, who, thanks to his open heels, had a very restless night, just like he looked at me. Poor thing! We comfortably left the campsite around noon and were greeted with fanfare and trumpets (others call it "thunderstorm") in Oslo in the evening. We will spend the next two nights with an incredibly friendly family whom we found through Airbnb. The laundry is spinning happily in the machine, the hungry bellies filled with rice pudding, and the tent is drying peacefully in the parking garage. Only my patient isn't really feeling better yet. The heels are now pus-filled and look really painful. They feel that way too. In any case, even the pharmacists were slightly shocked. Luckily, Oslo is one of the smallest capitals in Europe because I'm afraid that tomorrow, despite the second-skin bandage, we will minimize our walks downtown to a minimum.
