Odometer: 4870

Outside temperature: 14°C Rain

6:30 am, the night is over, the dog can't really believe that he has to go out in the rain shortly afterwards. The motorhome is ready, so we quickly went to Aldi around 8 and then headed towards Malmö. We took the short way back over the Øresund Bridge (finally we see it), but the crossing is less exciting than hoped. The toll afterwards is quite high, no wonder the bridge is paid off until 2030 (€126).

Arrived in Malmö at the foot of the tallest building in Scandinavia (Turning Torso), we visited the beach, Malmö Castle (great toilets in the Museum of Modern Art) and then went to the Beach Dinner. Here we enjoyed great burgers and a small bucket of milkshake at a fair price. Marley was waiting at the door, as it seemed to be cold on his rear end, he decided to make himself comfortable in the stroller. After a satisfying meal, we walked back to the camper along the promenade for a nap.

After a nap, we started towards Helsingborg, or rather to a beach area outside the city (secret tip), only 50m from the water. You could still see Denmark very clearly just a stone's throw away, and busy ship traffic could be admired into the night. Dad was almost knee-deep in the water, while the rest of us naturally didn't dare. At the end of the day, we had the champagne given by the landlord (at least half the bottle) in the slow sunset. Afterwards, almost everyone went to bed, Mom still had to finish an exciting book and then she was scared of every noise (crime novels are not the best choice in the evening; from now on there will be romance novels).
