28. Etappe "Bukhara, Uzbekistan"

The train to Bukhara left the station on time and the journey was once again very pleasant. When we arrived in Bukhara, the taxis were already waiting for us. After checking in and having a short siesta, we set off for the old town. Barbara was full of energy. Today was therefore dedicated to visiting various sights. However, the temperature later rose to 40 degrees, so we spent the afternoon in the hotel. This suited me, as I had caught a nasty cold from the air conditioning in our hotels and had no nasal spray with me. In the evening we went back to the Registan, which was beautifully lit up. We finished off the day with a visit to a restaurant, with a cold beer and a glass of red wine.
