July in Slovenia

Slovenia . A country full of beautiful nature, pleasant people and interesting tourist attractions. My friend and I celebrate our birthdays day after day, so that led us to the idea of a trip. July was the month to dare, get in the car and head for Bistrica ob Sotli - a small place in Slovenia near Zagreb. There we were welcomed by the hostess in the accommodation "Gabronka" who left a special village charm on us. An old renovated wooden house with various motifs reminiscent of childhood relaxed us with a glass of wine and rested for new adventures. The coming day brought a handful of new experiences, such as feeding tame deer on Jelenje Greben, feasting on fine homemade goulash and polenta, and walking in nature. The alpaca ranch surprised us with the owners' fantastic hospitality and smiling faces. Also, feeding the alpacas and spending time with the animals was the highlight of the whole day. The hosts treated us to homemade food and wine - cheese, sausages, ham and crusty bread. We especially enjoyed driving along dirt roads through forests and hillsides, talking about what was waiting for us. These were some special Ročkas, and it is always better to celebrate them with a dear person, on a journey, not knowing what you will do and where the goal is.
