Tag 28: Tulcea - Constance

This morning I set off again without breakfast. I only got a coffee in the hotel. After 18 km I reached Agighiol where I got a coffee and a sandwich from a "Magazin Mixed" = general store. It must have rained last night, in places the roads were real lakes and in places it was very muddy. It was still very cloudy in the morning but it got better and better and after 2 hours I had to take off my jacket because it was too warm. Today there were a few meters of elevation too, but it was not too bad!

After 120km I reached the outskirts of Constanza. From here on it was a real pain to cycle. Lots of traffic, sometimes confusing intersections, stressed drivers,... After 145km I had fought my way through the traffic and reached the port of Constanza, the end of my journey! It felt great to finally arrive at the Black Sea.

I immediately looked for accommodation and went to the beach. Then I asked at the train station about taking bikes on the train. Nobody could really tell me. I would say it will be exciting to get to Bucharest tomorrow. But it will work out somehow!
