02/08/2016 Mount Lofty Botanic Garden

We forgot to mention that we went to the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden.

This botanical garden is located just before Adelaide and we really wanted to go there because we saw a picture on the internet where everything is in full bloom and there is a forest with trees that have red leaves!!

Unfortunately, we went two weeks after the picture was taken, so most of the leaves were already on the ground. Nevertheless, it was nice to get away from the farm routine and the Botanic Garden is really beautiful to see. You can also get lost here if you don't pay close attention to where you are walking.

On the way there, Mike saw a bird of prey snatch a brown snake while driving and then drop it over the barbed wire fence. The snake was dead on top of it and of course Mike had to look at it ;-). The farmer has found a successor for us now, which means we can stop working before September 15th :-) We have now decided on September 1st, so just one more moooonnnth !! We still have a lot to do until then. The travel planning is already set, that's all we can say :-)
