Sunday, 13.9. - Oranienburg

By turning left behind the Liebenwalder Bridge, we leave familiar waters. After passing the Liebenwalder Lock and joining the Oder-Havel Canal, the serene tranquility before the Lehnitz Lock comes to a sudden end, at least 8 boats are already waiting here in a pack, but according to various well-known dock neighbors, we all fit in the lock. Green light, everyone rushes forward. It's true, the lock is very large, also used by commercial shipping, lift 6m. That means, pay attention to the length of the line and where to lay it!

Across the Lehnitzsee with a lot of hustle and bustle, it only gets quieter when we turn into the Oranienburger Havel and drive to the Schlossmarina (already the third Schlossmarina 🤔). We manage to moor on the second attempt, phew, first a little maneuver.

Walk through Oranienburg and noodle soup for dinner.
