Today is our last day on Kauai. We started this year with big island, then O'ahu and finally Kauai. Tonight at 8.40pm our flight will first go to San Francisco, then from San Francisco to Washington, and then from Washington to Amsterdam. Before that, at the request of my male family members, we will visit Mc Donald's one more time and then return the rental car to Alamo. From leaving the resort to arriving at our home, we will be traveling for about 35-36 hours. But! It's absolutely worth it 🙂 🌴☀️💦

Which is the most beautiful island? Big island, Maui, O'ahu (Honolulu), or Kauai?

The youngest and therefore most barren and 'rough' is Big island, the greenest and oldest is Kauai.

My favorite is Maui, followed by Kauai. Maui has great little shopping stores, super snorkeling beaches, you can watch the surfers with their daring actions, and it has great weather. On Kauai, you can go hiking and kayaking. You are very connected to nature here.

The people in Hawaii are all very friendly and most of them are in a good mood. So you meet shuttle bus drivers who sing and tell jokes during the ride. 🙂
