From Santa Elena to Rincón de la Vieja (2.5.22)

Today moving again was on the agenda. Sebastian found it hard to say goodbye because he had become friends with the farm dog Kira. He thinks we should come back next year. Well, we'll see. 😉 Anyway, today 3.5 hours drive for 80km....over gravel roads and crumbling asphalt, interrupted by a stop at the beautiful waterfall Llanos de Cortés, where you can also swim (which we did, of course) and a short lunch. The last kilometers to our lodge were already slightly spectacular. We weren't so sure if there was still something coming 😂. But in the end we arrived and were pleasantly surprised ☺️

Tomorrow we will go for a hike in Rincón de la Vieja National Park to see the various volcanic activities.
