To boost the excitement, I've been listening to Udo Jürgens' 'Greek Wine' multiple times for the past few days. Absolutely confident in the lyrics and as a new fan of Udo Jürgens, I am well-prepared to embark on a journey to the land of ancient civilizations. Here, paradise-like beaches, inviting taverns, and a wealth of tangible culture and history are awaiting me.

The first impression is often crucial, and if that is the case, then I am even more excited for the upcoming weeks in this beautiful country with its extraordinary stories, legends, and myths.

The drive from Blue Eye to just outside of Patras takes about 250 km, and today it took us a good 4 hours with border control. Additionally, there is the time change. It is one hour later here.

Today, Bürsti once again wished for a place with a sea view. For an elderly gentleman, fulfilling such a request is practically a given.

Tomorrow, I will cross over to Patras, the third-largest city in Greece.
