Last road trip from Hermanus to Capetown

After some really fresh fruit salad for bfast and packing up, we left the car at the hotel and did the last bit of the cliff walk up to the Harbour in Hermanus where the whale watchers start their tours from June - November and walked back to hotel. Hopped on the car and headed out to Cape town for our last stop where we’ll stay at the #hotelonthepromenade until Sat morning. On the road, some bad news hit me back from home and while driving and watching all the ugly, dirty and hopelessly scammed townships that sem Cape Town from far beyond up to the posh big bright and shiny city with all amenities you can think of, I really had to dig down very deep into what I am capable of taking up with and what not. For this time, I choose fight over flight once more… I’ll hope so very much that it will go down the right path and help 🙏.

We checked in and left for the waterfront in order to get ticket for the Robben 🦭 Island Memorial Tour by boat tomorrow morning and had a small coffee and fresh lemonade stop at #paul . Dinner at the restaurant at the hotel to finish off a very impressive and also memorably day today 😳
