Rio de wonderful. 🌴

Koffer dropped off at the hotel and off we go - killing time until we could check into our room. Speaking of suitcases - unfortunately Marie's suitcase gave up. 🙁 But hey! Then there'll be a new one - of course in pink! It has to be said - it was love at first sight 😚

After a short nap (from 13:30 to 17:00 - we were so damn exhausted from the flight 😧), we made our way to Copacabana. Since it was getting dark by now, we decided to take a taxi 😊🚕

Just between us now, Rio is beautiful. Copacabana at night... With a Caipirinha (or two 😋)... It was a wonderful end to our first night in Rio.

Day 1 is over. Day 2 will be celebrated - after all, we have a birthday girl 👸🎂! And what we urgently need now to cope with this time difference and enjoy the day tomorrow? 😪 Sleep! 😪
