A surprise, silk spiders, and a mountain hut

Today we got up early. My brother and I had no idea where we were going. Only that we were moving to a different hotel today was clear to us. But first, the surprise: I thought we were going paragliding because we had to wear long pants and a jacket. It is advertised all over the island and I have been wishing to do it for a long time. But unfortunately, the paragliding didn't happen...

Instead, we drove to an old, green-painted garage and then it became clear to us: we were renting buggies! I sat next to my mom and my brother joined our dad. Together with the guides and a couple on a quad, we went off-road.
It was a bit unfamiliar at first, but then it started to be fun😊!
Suddenly, the guides stopped and said that my brother and I could drive a few laps. That was really fun😊. The fastest I drove was 42km/h. Once, we even rolled down a hill almost vertically. That was a bit scary. Dirt from the wheels kept splashing up towards us. But overall, it was really cool.
Before we drove back to the hotel, we saw six big silk spiders (scream, vomit, run...).
Our hotel looks a lot like a mountain hut, but it's very cozy and comfortable. We are now at an altitude of over 1,600 meters.
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. But what we're doing then is still a secret...
