Yeah, I was in Bangkok. That was a pretty interesting city. But after a while, I had enough of all the damn temples. Then I met the two (Anni and Jessie) and spontaneously flew with them to the north, to Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai was awesome because you can easily get a scooter there. (I could have even taken a Harley, they don't care ЁЯШВ) And Chiang Mai has many options, like zip-lining and high-ropes courses through the jungle or mountain bike downhill through the forests and much more.
About the scooters :D They don't care if you have a driver's license. Renting a scooter costs тВм3 per day. I took out insurance, which cost тВм5 (thank god hahahahaha). And the police don't care either. The main thing is to pay about тВм8 if you get stopped, and then you can drive for 3 days.
On the first evening, we rode scooters through the city. The next day, we went to a remote waterfall to swim and chill. (That was on Sunday) Everything was fine on the way until I was going around a curve at about 70 and I slid out and the tires gave way. The rear wheel broke loose and I skidded about 30 meters across the road and out of the curve.
I immediately got up and shouted "Fuck" a thousand times and got really upset. This damn shitty thing had almost no tread left and the road was full of dirt. Many people immediately came to the spot and wanted to help and called an ambulance. It was still okay with the pain. I had many abrasions all over my body and my T-shirt was ruined. But then in the hospital, it was pure hell. Just imagine that all the damn dirt has to come out of the damn wounds completely ЁЯШб
Well, I had the choice to sleep in the hotel, and I definitely did. Sleeping wasn't great, but at least it wasn't the hospital.
About the costs hahahaha, insurance was easy, тВм5. Hospital is paid for + transport for me and the scooter + scooter repair. Divine
Yeah, the rest of the vacation in Thailand went down the drain. I wanted to do the high-ropes courses through the jungle, mountain biking, and go to the shooting range.
But the main thing was that I could take the three booked flights to get to Japan. Otherwise, I would have been really pissed off.
But now I'm in Japan ЁЯСМ the journey was damn exhausting. I also had a rumbling stomach because I ate rotten shit in Bangkok. but now I can chill again. I have to disinfect the wounds every day. But now on Saturday (6 days later), the worst is over and the two most severe wounds, on the left leg and left hand, are almost healed.
That's why there were no photos and posts, otherwise I would have uploaded a lot.
All in all, I have to say that Thailand is completely shitty. Most Thais are almost all racists and can barely speak English. The food tastes like shit. The scooters are all cheap shit. The money, damn. Just bought a couple of things for one day and I have 1 kg of coins in my pocket. Are they retarded?! And the country is infested with mosquitoes. It's nowhere worse than there.
But Thailand also has good sides.
A hotel vacation is probably pretty chill. Then the Thais are also not such stupid looking ****, but nicer. And everything is really cheap there.
Now I'm in Japan and I have to say that I feel really good here. Tokyo is a great and modern city. The people are in a good mood and it's just fun to be here. The capsule hotel was initially a real shock because it's expensive (although still one of the cheapest) and you sleep in a capsule. But after one night, it's actually really cool here. You can get everything you need here. On one floor, I can play billiards, bowl, and play darts. It's going well. Washing clothes is also possible here, which is very important. etc and so on.
Tomorrow I'm meeting Kevin and then we'll explore the city. He already has the most awesome plan :D
Ciao
