3rd day in Bangkok

So... I made it.... My visa is extended... After initially taking a taxi to the wrong place, I had to go on a longer taxi tour on the highway to Chaengwattana and finally found it.... The people there are very annoyed and not very nice.... They also speak very broken English here, and I felt unwelcome... Well.. After 2 hours, I got out of there. I tried in vain to find out if there is a bus or train stop nearby, but then I got into the taxi feeling a bit annoyed but relieved... I don't want to comment further on this....

The day was still young, so I decided to do something enjoyable... I chose a boat tour 'Hop on hop off'. For a really small amount of money, I could sail around the Chao Phraya River all day and get on and off as I pleased... That was very nice... But I only got off at the last stop and visited Khao San Road....

Khao San Road is very touristy compared to the place where I live, but I liked it.... It seems to be really interesting there at night... I will check it out again...

All in all, I really enjoyed this day (except for my visit to the immigration center)... It's not late yet, but I'm pretty tired.... I'll just chill in the hotel room for now and then go out for something to eat...

I will probably end the day again with a Singha beer and a cigarette... Today, I will definitely sleep peacefully.... Phew...
