Santa Barbara -> Los Angeles

'We've been on the run - Driving in the sun - Looking out for number 1 - California here we come'.

These are the opening lines of one of the songs that I associate most with vacation. It is also the intro of the TV series 'O.C. California'. It is about four young teenagers who are confronted with typical problems in Orange County. I discovered and fell in love with this TV show during my high school years. The entire plot takes place in the greater Los Angeles area, and that's why I want to see the city for myself in order to compare it. I am very excited to see what it's like.

Today we drove into L.A. via Malibu. With a few stops along the way, we had to navigate the city traffic. Once we arrived at the hotel, we decided to have a relaxing afternoon and put the pool to the test.

As the evening hour approached, we set off to the Hollywood Hills to enjoy the sunset over the metropolis. With the onset of night, we sought shelter in our hotel room once again.

We have a tight schedule planned for tomorrow, so this day also ends with an appropriate bedtime.
