Discover Caribbean & Central America with AIDAluna - A look back at 2020

This is a recap of my last cruise before COVID-19. This trip took me to the Caribbean, with wonderful destinations waiting for me.

We started our journey in Montego Bay, Jamaica, with a Condor flight from Munich.

Our itinerary: Montego Bay - Puerto Limon - Colon (unfortunately cancelled due to strong gusts of wind in the port) - Cartagena - La Romana - Martinique - Antigua - St. Maarten - Tortola - Samana - Montego Bay.

During the first week, we got to explore Central America and had a heavenly departure from Cartagena, watching the sunset behind Cartagena's skyline, a truly impressive experience.

The second week was more focused on the famous Caribbean islands. We had more 'fun' excursions, swimming, snorkeling, and even a biking tour. Of course, we couldn't miss visiting the legendary Mahoo Beach, also known as the airplane beach.

After 14 days, it was sadly time to bid farewell to AIDA, but as the saying goes, if you don't leave, you can't come back :).
