Tag 58 Dait Aoua - Meknes

Today we visited Fes, or rather, we can say we visited it a little bit. It is the oldest of the 4 royal cities of Morocco 😉. It has been a World Heritage Site since 1976. The tanneries are particularly interesting. Here, leather and hides are tanned by heavy manual work. We watched the whole process from a rooftop terrace. Otherwise, we walked around the Medina, had a snack at a cafe, and enjoyed the view from above again. It's enough for both of us, so it's good. Then we went back to Meknes to a city parking lot. We are staying overnight here and will visit the Medina tomorrow. It's practical that the parking lots are so central, so we don't have to walk far and the car is guarded. The corona news is really shocking. Simply insane.
