Tag 35 Baquerizo Moreno Fear of the Sea Lion Kiss

This morning, so to speak, we took care of office work. We booked a boat to Santa Cruz for tomorrow morning at 7:00, finished Mom's birthday present, and booked a hostel for the next 2 days. After that, we finally wanted to try out our snorkeling gear. We walked to Punta Baquerizio. It was mostly rocky volcanic terrain through a hot dry forest. Luckily, it was cloudy at times. Our friends were already lying at the entrance to the beach. Farina and I found it odd to imagine them swimming towards us in the water. So we walked a bit further. Our motto: Sit down and observe. There were already several people in the water. We saw heads popping out of the water more and more, they were large sea turtles. Now we were curious. Into the cold water we went and swam with the sea turtles. Some fish were also visible. The sea lions, thankfully, stayed at the front.😏 In the afternoon, we trudged back over the hot stones. We are often really tired by the afternoon here.
