Boda Boda

Today we set off early and were driven to the Botanical Garden in Entebbe. Upon arrival, we were given a two-hour guided tour of the trees and shrubs, where we searched for birds and monkeys. Afterwards, we headed to the capital city of Kampala in the typical African traffic. Rules? Traffic signs? Hard to recognize 😓😁 And in the midst of it all, there were Boda Bodas in abundance. These are small motorcycles used as taxis and general means of transportation. They transport anything that fits, even across borders.

Now it's just a 25-minute boat ride across Lake Victoria and we're in the next quarter. And here, there's nothing going on. We're the only guests and don't know what we can do here. No internet, just dim energy-saving lamps in the room, swimming in the lake is not recommended, a bit of thunderstorm and.....?!
