Tag 1 - Berlin-London-Hongkong

Today my dream trip begins! I will be traveling solo for about 7 weeks. I will spend Christmas, New Year's Eve, and my birthday in New Zealand. My heart is beating faster now and then I will be standing outside the house with my big bag.

The taxi is early, so I'm already at Tegel shortly after 11. The BA plane is full and takes off a little late. But I have almost 4 hours layover in London, so it doesn't matter and I also come to Terminal 3 relaxed with the shuttle bus. Luggage has been checked through.

We continue from Heathrow almost on time at 5.30 pm. It is supposed to take 11 hours and 03 minutes, but it will be slightly longer. The plane is also full, and a Swede sits next to me, who already sinks into the middle seat with a massive hangover and then treats himself to a glass of champagne and later one glass of wine after another. As expected, he taps me every half an hour and says, “I have to pee.” The pronunciation is a bit slurred already. It is incredibly warm on this flight, and I'm glad when I arrive in Hong Kong.
