From Kalmar, we drove about 300 km to the north today and chose our last overnight spot about 130 km before Stockholm from our travel guide. The spot is in the middle of the forest (or by a lake) - probably in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the capital city that awaits us from tomorrow.
Really amazing, you drive through the countryside for a while, think you're coming to the end of the world, and suddenly there's a perfectly equipped bathing spot, including toilets, changing rooms, picnic benches, children's swing, bathing dock, trash cans, and everything completely accessible for people with disabilities! My compliments to the Swedes! Nothing is neglected, dirty, broken, or vandalized, as is often the case with us.
Update at 11:36 PM:
I will never spend the night in the woods again 🙄. It's so creepy 😬😬😬. There are animals constantly screaming outside 😱, I can't even hear what kind of creatures they are... Maybe zombies 🧟♀️🧟♂️
