Island of Pag 😍

Next stop: Pag! The road leads us along the beautiful coastal road. We have breathtaking views of the sea and the islands - simply amazing! The photos can't even begin to capture these unique moments. It's just a shame that the weather isn't cooperating. In the sunshine, the sea would be even bluer ☁️

We take a short ferry connection (about 53 € for 2 people, camper van + car trailer) to the island of Pag. Pag looks very barren at first glance, like a lunar landscape 🌚. But on the other side, where our campsite is located, it looks different: Lots and lots of pine trees and olive trees, everything green and beautiful 😊.

Camping "Strasko" in Novalja, here we feel instantly comfortable. A large site with a long beach. We secure a great pitch with sea view. Our stretch of beach is clean and almost empty, the water is clear and pleasantly warm 🌊. The cicadas are chirping, it's wonderfully quiet... Perfect! This is vacation ☺️! I never want to leave!! And thanks to the ACSI Camping Card, it's only 19€ per night 🤫. Even the weather is perfect (even though the weather app always predicts storms 😳): sunshine 🌞 with a pleasant 26 degrees and cooling down with thunderstorms and rain from 9 pm onwards.

We quickly decide to extend our stay for a few more days until Thursday. Then we will continue south, because we still want to go all the way to Dubrovnik...

But we have time! Now it becomes clear to us: we still have a full 5 weeks ahead of us! How cool is that, please?? 😁🙃🙂
