So, 13:30 is a rough start in Rostock at the harbor. Theoretically, according to Google, it'll take me 5 hours (which is more realistic than the 4:14). In terms of distance, it's not far, only 450km.
It's just annoying that I have to do it in Germany. It wouldn't be a problem in Norway. I could even make the trip around 2pm, and there are a lot less cars on the road.
The ferry arrived around 2pm.
And it continued. As soon as I stood by the road, a truck stopped. The driver had already seen me on the ferry, and we managed to communicate in 3 different languages 🤷♂️, German, English, and Ukrainian... it worked out quite well.
Just a bit annoying that he took a slightly different route than I had planned. But oh well, you have to take what comes.
As you can see, it's a slightly different route. But since he has to take a 45-minute break, and he doesn't want to drive the remaining 50km to his client (dispatcher) because it's not worth it anymore, he's staying here.
Normally, I would try to keep going, but my mother insists on picking me up.
Do I think I'll start an English conversation with everyone? Yup, definitely.
I don't have a final word. Except maybe, let's see what I'll do next week 😅😉.
