El Torcal de Antequeras

In the heart of Andalusia, above Málaga, is the nature reserve El Torcal de Antequeras. Over millions of years, nature has created a marvel here. The rock formations are of overwhelming beauty. Some rock formations resemble stacked pancakes. It is possible to go on beautiful hikes along small trails.

We arrive in the afternoon. It is raining and the wind is bitterly cold. The next day, we go on several hiking tours in beautiful spring weather. At some points, we have to climb and lift Schnuffi over the rocks, otherwise the little dog is faster than us on the rough terrain.

We take a short break. A French family unpacks their picnic right next to us... the father of the family lists what he has in his backpack to choose from: "Coke, Fanta, beer, bananas..." Markus raises his hand and says quite casually: "I'll take a beer"... everyone laughs and he actually gets a cold can of beer as a gift, what a joker!!!
