יום 36: סינגפור I

At 7 o'clock in the morning we are already wide awake (in Christchurch it would already be noon), so we get up and shortly afterwards we head towards Sentosa Island, in the south of Singapore. This is a beautiful little island that was created completely artificially (for example, the fine white sand was specially flown in from Malaysia!) - via monorail train we go to the island where you can also board a small train to explore the island. There are even cable cars that can take you to Sentosa! We spend a cozy day at the beach and swim in the warm lagoon. Back at the hotel we have delicious dumplings for the aperitif. For dinner, we get food right around the corner - typical local and very cheap! We enjoy the evening in our cozy air-conditioned room, because outside it is 30 degrees and quite humid...
