Today was the second stage from Annascaul to Dingle Town. 22 kilometers on quiet country roads, sloping paths, and some pastures. It was more challenging than yesterday, but very varied and beautiful. After four kilometers, I reached the coast and took a short break at the foot of an old castle, enjoying the great view. Then I continued, away from the coast, going up and down. I stopped and enjoyed the view time and time again. After 15 kilometers, I headed back towards the coast and when I reached the summit of a hill, I saw the small port town of Dingle in front of me. Dingle is the largest town on the peninsula. After arriving at my B & B and settling in, I went out again. I wandered through the alleys and had a leisurely meal in a pub. But after such a hike, I am also tired and will rest. But I am already looking forward to tomorrow, when I continue to Dunquin.
