The countermeasure called Pilates awaits us in the town 20km away - we head there on a scooter (of course, I am still just a passenger). Ann, the instructor, is as punctual as we are and gives an introduction to the correct technique before the class... the following exercises do sooo good for the body and mind (perhaps also because we have spent almost the entire previous day lying down due to rain and laziness). And they help against my tiredness: something is living in our attic or on our roof. It moves and makes strange noises. And maybe I have seen too many horror movies, but it is frightening to me. So I lay awake for a while at night, hoping that the creature has decided to move out or is no longer active at night.

We then visit a waterfall for refreshment - but only in theory, because it is a steep downhill (no way for me) and Dania is soon nibbled on by a fish several times after dipping into the cool water. She is not amused. We need to eat something to recover from the shock 😊.

Before we go to the last night market in the evening, we go to the Tanjung Rhu Beach to cool off without fish biting our legs. The market, which takes place near us on Fridays, is crowded. But we love it. The food selection is once again huge, and they even have coconut shake that is almost as good as the one in Penang.

My favorite vendor remarks: "oh, 4 weeks in Malaysia ?! That’s many calories."

πŸ™„πŸ™„she's right.
