Torghatten, Bronnoysund

Stage 18: Hofles - Brønnøysund, Torghatten Camping: After the very demanding tour yesterday, today we decided to choose a closer next overnight location: Brønnøysund, or a wonderfully located campsite at the foot of Torghatten and directly at the fjord. To shorten the way, we took a car ferry for the 2nd time; the payment works by simply photographing the license plate and sending the invoice home. In order to benefit from environmental discounts, we registered the car online - let's see if that works (otherwise the maximum rate will be charged). By the way, this system is also used for toll roads. Since it is getting brighter for longer (currently sunset at 0:13 am - but it doesn't really get dark) we set off for Torghatten - the hole at half past six. Of course, there is a Nordic legend about this hole in the mountain, involving kings, beautiful daughters, a virgin, unrequited love, revenge with bow and arrow, and a savior in distress...
