17.04.2023 Child care project

We had the late shift today because the kids are at school in the morning. As soon as they geg to the club we take them aside to do their homework.

Svea was in the homework room today while I was in the play room. Svea told me that the kids are all very different when it comes to homework.

Some just do it on their own, some need help, some need to be supervised because else they are not gonna do it. And some don't do it at all.

I didn't have to worry about that at all since I was just assigned to the playroom. So I played with legos all day while the kids were watching me. And if any of them took the pieces that I wanted I hit them.

No of course not, I tried to built a tree but the other kids kept adding guns and weapons to it. So at the end it was a very deadly tree equipped with flamethrowers and security cameras.

After our shift we went home for dinner. Then suddenly a new volunteer arrived frlm france. Her name is joed, though I am not sure how to write it.

She is joining the kids club aswell.

We all went to play bingo tonight since that was an event in town every monday. It was also in the same hall were we played badminton.

And my god were there a lot of people.Especially a lot of older people. We each just had one number sheet while some of the older ladies had 4 at the same time. They also went to bingo every monday.

We were clearly outmatched.

But svea still managed to win 50€ so all in all a big success.
