Rain and storm

Originally, we were supposed to go to the marble caves by boat at 8:00 in the morning. But when we heard the wind whistling and the rain pounding against the wall, we wrote to the boat rental company asking if this tour would really take place. They confirmed it, but said it wouldn't be a good idea with the children. So we turned around in bed and went back to sleep.

For weeks, we hadn't had a day where we didn't do anything. That was quite unusual! So we spent the day in our cabin. Outside, the rain was pounding and inside, the fire crackled. We only went out once to book a tour to the San Rafael glacier.

But we still had some action. The children made friends with three kittens. However, the friendship was only partial. It was great when they got something to eat. Heike let herself be persuaded to drive to the supermarket to buy cat food.

Christian went crazy with the children's love for the cats. Therefore, he tried to chase the cats out through the back door. The children then brought the cats back in through the front door and scolded Christian. Heike enjoyed watching the spectacle from the couch.

Today we went to bed earlier, around 11:00 p.m., because we have to get up at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow. We had booked a tour to the San Rafael glacier. We are really looking forward to it, as it will be another highlight of our trip.
