Into the jungle

In our first week in Bali, we explored the island together with a G-Adventures group. 🧭🏞️

On the day of arrival, we decided to have our first surfing lesson at Kuta Beach, which turned out to be a highlight of the day with lots of fun, unexpected success, and a sunburn. 🌊

On Thursday, right after breakfast, we headed north of Bali to the jungle of Kubutambahan.

Here, we were able to learn more about Balinese culture by visiting various (historical) temples, taking part in a ritual offering ceremony (in Hinduism), visiting a G-Adventures supported school for people with disabilities, and participating in a Balinese cooking class. 🙏🏽🍛

During day trips, we ventured further into the jungle and mountains and visited hot water springs and beautiful waterfalls. 🏞️🌤️

Another highlight of our tour was the Monkey Forest in Ubud. 🐒
