Ecuador / Galapagos Islands - Day 8 - One last time snorkeling and Las Grietas

In the morning, we went out to the open sea from the port on a boat to see sharks. Unfortunately, there were no sharks, but we saw the famous birds with a red sack around their neck. Small compensation.

Afterwards, we went around a small island off the coast and saw a bunch of sea lions. Then we went snorkeling in a bay off Santa Cruz. It was a successful last snorkel, as suddenly a sea lion dived next to a turtle and it looked like they were playing together. It was really amazing!

Next on the list was Las Grietas on land. It was a canyon with very clear water. It was too cold for us :D

In the afternoon, we ended the day on the Galapagos Islands with a few beers, as we were heading back to the mainland the next day.
