After a restful night, I was full of energy again today. After a short walk through the town - there's not much new to see here - I drove a few kilometers outside to the Samula and Xkeken cenotes. Cenotes are water-filled caves where you can swim. The water is wonderfully cool at 25 degrees. A refreshing adventure!

I spent the afternoon with a siesta at the hotel, I still had some after-effects from yesterday and the humid heat is exhausting...

In the evening, I went to a restaurant with traditional Maya cuisine. A culinary experience with a show.
