Evenings in Dotonbori-dori

יצא לאור: 19.06.2017

Dotonbori-dori is the famous entertainment district of Osaka. It has two landmarks: The Crab (which can be seen multiple times. As Kerstin's travel guide beautifully wrote: 'Follow the crab, then you are in the right place':D) and the Olypia Man, whose name is Glico Runner. Here you have to squeeze through like at a crowded fair at 11 pm. And we were already there at 6 pm :D But the Japanese start celebrating earlier than us.

Here I finally had some decent Tako-yaki (octopus balls). The process looks very spectacular: dough is filled into a hot plate with semi-circular slots and fried. Then a piece of octopus (usually arms with suction cups) is put in and the whole thing is turned super fast with two needles. I should have made a video :D
