Yesterday I said goodbye to my family in Frankfurt, and today I'm already in India. The first thing I feel as I come out of the airport is the sensation of being somewhere completely different and the humid climate. But first, I need to go through passport and visa control. As the Brit aptly put it, 'In the UK, we work hard to earn our break; in India, they simply take a break from all the work.' After being warmly welcomed by my host father, we headed onto the highway to Pune. Slowly making our way through the beautiful Old Mumbai with its many British buildings and the tricky city traffic, we finally reached Pune. After a stop at McDonald's (I'm on a spicy diet, starting with mild things), we made it to Pune. I was warmly greeted by everyone there. I was introduced to so many people that I couldn't remember a single name. Then, we went to a table tennis tournament in the society. The society consists of 360 houses that are fenced off, with multiple entrances that are monitored. After the table tennis tournament, I fell into bed, tired.
