The North Island ...... Day 9

Thanks to the bed in our accommodation, I woke up early and went out to see the sunrise ......

then we continued, many kilometers

from Napier......

through Kiwi plantations (yes, they really exist here)
through avocado plantations
through vineyards.....

always further,

over

it's somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but it has a pretty name. There was obviously no place to the sign, but a hill

(and whoever believes that's long, it's even longer:

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

but that's too far for us today)
